mother, home educator, lawyer, creative, and now, the founder of La Femme Atelier. For 15 years I homeschooled my daughters, devoting my days to nurturing minds and weaving a home rich in learning, faith and purpose. When they left for university, I found myself standing quietly at the edge of a new season - wondering who I was beyond the roles I had so faithfully and joyfully held.
So, I did something unexpected. I returned to education, completed a law degree, trained as a barrister, and began a new professional life in the courtroom. But through I could argue a case and stand before a judge, my heart remained with women - especially those who, like me, were navigating the tender space between who they had been and who they might yet become.
La Femme Atelier was born from that place - not of certainty, but of courage. A space of gentle reinvention.

Who am I now that my children are grown?
Where do I place my creativity, my wisdom, my longing for purpose and meaning?
Is it too late to begin again?
As I searched for answers, I realised something profound: Midlife is not a crisis - it is a calling. A quiet invitation to return to ourselves with deeper honesty, softer ambition, and renewed grace.
I created La Femme Atelier not to teach from a mountaintop, but to walk beside other women in this in-between space - the one where endings meet beginnings. Rather than coaching or prescriptive advice, I chose to offer something different: beautifully crafted workbooks, reflective tools, courses and gatherings - resources that allow women to grow at their own pace, in their own time, without pressure or performance.
This is not a place for reinvention by force.
It's a place for becoming, gently.
"La Femme Atelier helped me reconnect with the part of myself I thought I'd lost. The Second Act Workbook didn't rush me - it gave me space to breathe, reflect, and dream again." - Emma W. 52
"I've followed many 'self-help' resources over the years, but this felt different - softer, kinder. It was like sitting down with a wise friend who understands the quiet courage it takes to begin again." - Joanna R. 49
"The Seasonal reflections and journal prompts have become a ritual for me. I no longer feel like I'm drifting through midlife - I'm moving through it with purpose and grace." Sarah M. 55
